Time To Change Campaigner

Joe first experienced warning signs of his mental health problem in 2009, while working in Wealth Management at a large bank when the first credit crunch struck.
As he recovered, he found a part time role on a mental health programme called Time to Change, run by the charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness and now he works for Parkinson’s UK. The job combined his passion for sport with project management expertise. In his blog he talks about how important it is for sporting legends like Freddie to speak out about depression. He hopes that other people will find comfort in his honesty, and that it helps people talk more openly about mental health.
