David Davis 'Disappointed' He Didn't Have His Phone Hacked

What's Worse That Having Your Phone Hacked...

While several MPs and former cabinet ministers have been left seething at news that their phones were hacked by the News of the World, one Tory is apparently upset that the tabloid did not deem him important enough to target.

Former shadow home secretary and Tory leadership contender David Davis told the Daily Mail that he was surprised his voicemails were not eavesdropped on given his high profile.

"When I asked Scotland Yard I was quite surprised to be told they couldn't find my name on their list. I was rather disappointed," he said."

He added: "You almost want to say: 'What's wrong with me that I didn't get hacked'." Poor chap.
