The latest European edition of The Huffington Post - HuffPost Deutschland - is launched today in partnership with one of Germany's fastest-growing digital media companies, Hubert Burda Media's Tomorrow Focus.
Welcoming the new site to the HuffPost family, founder Arianna Huffington said the move into Germany came at a "fascinating" point in the country's history as Germany "takes on an ascendant role in Europe".
In a blog written to mark the launch of the new site, the HuffPost editor-in-chief also spoke of her aim of highlighting the Third Metric in Germay.

"A big part of our mission will entail putting a spotlight on how Germans of all generations are dealing with the Third Metric, which is what we call redefining success beyond the first two metrics of money and power to include well-being, wisdom, wonder, compassion and giving," she wrote.
HuffPost Deutschland is expected to go live at 10.30am local time after a press conference that is being livestreamed from 10am local time and which can be viewed in the video above.
