A teenage girl claiming to live in Gaza is live tweeting the bombardment of her city by Israeli troops.
Her Twitter account identifies her as Farah Gazan, a 16-year-old apparently relaying the heart-breaking destruction of her neighbourhood, 140 characters a time.
On Monday Israel moved to escalate its military offensive – a campaign the IDF claims is intended to end the rocket fire coming from Gaza into the Israeli heartland.
Farah tweeted images and footage of the attacks, writing: “This is in my area. I can’t stop crying. I might die tonight.”
Farah has also appeared in a live interview televised by NBC News.
