Alexa Chung sported a new tousled hair do just a few hours after models at Holly Fulton's London Fashion Week show debuted a fresh take on the bedhead look.
Chung went for the chop on Saturday 19 September after wearing her shoulder-length hair loose and wavy to the Vogue London Fashion Week party the night before.
Chung posted an Instagram photo showing her new look shortly after Fulton sent models down the runway with the back of their hair pushed up at the crown like they'd awoken from an impromptu nap moments before the show.
Vogue described the look created by hairstylist James Pecis as "the woke-up-five-minutes-ago cowlicks and pressed-against-a-pillow kinks seen on 20-something gallery girls or bookish types who stayed up too late reading."
Chung's new cut suits the trend perfectly, but can also be swept into more sculpted styles as she demonstrated while on the front row of the House of Holland show with Poppy Delevingne and Daisy Lowe later that evening.
