*UPDATE* New reports suggest the proposal was FAKE. See the full story here.
There was a lot going on in #CorrieLive, but for one man - who’s not a member of the 'Coronation Street' cast - it was a *massively* important evening, as the show included his marriage proposal for his girlfriend.
MORE 'CORRIE':
‘Corrie’ bosses launched a Twitter competition last week, giving fans the chance to have their message appear on a chalkboard in the Rovers Return.
Twitter user Adam triumphed in the competition, and it’s no surprise given that he wanted to propose via the medium of #CorrieLive.
And, like magic, his proposal was right there, just behind Liz McDonald:
Did you see our #CorrieBoard message? Well done @literallyadam - your message made it to The Rovers! #CorrieLive pic.twitter.com/2HrXwVgFZ0

The ‘Corrie’ team later posted another snap of the sign, which was written by Stephen Mulhern:
.@StephenMulhern wrote @literallyadam's tweet on the #CorrieBoard... and she said YES! #CorrieLive pic.twitter.com/meHCLWOzlE

Thankfully, Adam took to Twitter to confirm the news we’d all been hoping for - Katie said yes:
im officially engaged, thanks @itvcorrie 💍 what a night!!

As promised, Wednesday’s ‘Corrie’ was action-packed, and while it admittedly got off to a slowly slow start, the drama stepped up when Kylie murdered Callum.
The Platt family now have a huge task on their hands, after making the decision to store Callum’s body in their house.
A newly-revealed trailer promises plenty of drama for the family, as well as a number of other Weatherfield residents.
