10 Years Since Mean Girls Was Released: Here's What We Learnt About School

It's 10 Years Since Mean Girls Was Released
|

It's 10 years this week since Mean Girls was released. That's right. 10 whole YEARS since Glen Coco got four candy canes, Lindsay Lohan smelt like a baby prostitute, Kevin Gnapoor unleashed his badass mathlete rap on the world and Coach Carter taught us if you touch someone else, you will get Klamydia. And die.

The film, released way back in April 2004, fast produced a cult following, of which we are loyal members of. Mean Girls taught us that we're actually pretty good at learning stuff, even if it is film quotes. And the whole of Kevin G's rap. And the Jingle Bells dance.

We'd give our right arm to be one of the characters - from the delightfully "too gay to function" Damian, to the moody but loveable Janice. Who hasn't used one of her comebacks in real life?

Don't be fooled by the name either, this is no simple chick flick.

So thank you, Mean Girls, for giving us a better education than school ever could.
