Andrew Masterson

Andrew is a Partner at Pinsent Masons LLP, well known for his dispute resolution and litigation work, acting for companies such as IMI, SIG, William Hill and Northgate IS, various government departments , agencies and NHS Trusts, a number of Universities and trustees and members of pension schemes.

Andrew's work ranges across heavyweight contractual and tortious disputes especially product liability claims and claims prevention, Capital Goods, IT contracts and business acquisition disputes. He carries out contentious pensions work including obtaining directions , rectifications , funding disputes and conducting professional negligence claims. Andrew's dispute work for universities covers student discipline and complaints, judicial review, and commercial matters. Notable cases include Vercom v McDonnel Information Systems and Baeckert Fencing v Veys and others.
