Becky Plummer is a senior software engineer at Bloomberg in London. She is global head of the Engineering Champions Program, which empowers developers to influence change and collaborate on improving the development environment. Furthermore, Becky is head of Bloomberg’s Engineering Guilds program, which brings together engineers around technological challenges such as 'Automated Testing' or 'Search'. She also serves as the team leader responsible for content collaboration applications for the Bloomberg Terminal. Becky has delivered a TEDx talk on what 2050 will look like for women in technology. She also spoke at the 2017 Grace Hopper Celebration about InnerSource and the role of open source software development practices, collaboration and mentorship inside the enterprise. In 2017, Becky was recognised as a TechWomen50 Champion by WeAreTechWomen.
