David Hynes was a feature writer for various online and print magazines until 2008 when he moved into radio, stage and screen writing. He has had various plays performed in the UK and has a passion for theatre and film. A keen blogger and fiction writer, Hynes is particularly interested in how modern media is shaping society.

Hynes spent two years in South America from 2010 to 2012, recounting his experiences in various short stories and plays. He is currently working on a novel, The 100 Birthdays of the Muse of War.
