Peace Brigades International works with threatened human rights
defenders around the world (currently Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico and
Nepal), providing international protective accompaniment,
awareness-raising and moral support to people whose lives are at risk as a result of their non-violent work for human rights. Emma's background is in photography and journalism. She worked as a field volunteer for PBI in Guatemala in 2007-8 and has been responsible for communications for PBI UK since September 2008.
