My Olympic Story

The Olympics are the top thing that any athlete can achieve - every single person who is there is at the top of their game. You see David Beckham and Andy Murray walking around the village and it's incredible. No matter if you have a World or a Commonwealth medal, until you have that Olympic medal people don't say that's seriously impressive. Everyone recognises it, whether you're in sport or not. I felt very privileged to put on a team GB uniform, I felt like I had been given a responsibility - like I have to wear this with pride and it was a very big deal for me.

Bring on the Great: Show Your Support for Team GB Ahead of Rio 2016 Olympics

My Swim Stars To Watch

I've had the privilege of working with the swimming team since my retirement and its exciting time for British swimming; lots of young athletes are now coming through to their peak so it will be a hard-fought battle in the pool this summer. Having competed at many international competitions, I understand what all of the swimmers will be feeling - excitement, anticipation and a sense of nervousness. I've picked out a few swimmers from each country that I think will be ones to watch for this summer...
