Sue Thomason

Queen of coaching

Sue Thomason worked as a broadcaster for ITN and for 20 years as a journalist on national magazines (Woman, Cosmopolitan, NOW, Woman's Own and more). An obsessive information seeker, Sue spent two decades researching into the causes of negative self image. Sue was a consultant for the UK Government, the All Party Parliamentary Group on Body Image, and the Central YMCA on their inquiry into the causes and consequences of body image anxiety. She also worked with psychotherapist Susie Orbach’s Endangered Bodies campaign. She was also founder and editor in chief of Beautiful, a glossy women’s magazine dedicated to body diversity sold in supermarkets and retailers UK-wide. Before that, Sue qualified as a life coach in 2005 after two years of study and went on to develop successful online and face-to-face courses to help women build superhuman confidence. Sue is now a successful life coach specialising midlife and the eradication of the fear that holds people back from being who they want to be.
