Will is a son of Hemel Hempstead, the New Town that’s really going places. He was the Guardian Student Sports Writer of the Year in 2003 and ran and edited Fest, the independent Edinburgh Festival newspaper, before spending three very blurry years working at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He spends weekdays working as Communications Manager at the national literature charity, Booktrust, and is making slow, unspectacular progress on an untitled work of fiction.
