Costing a pretty penny, £20 more than last year too, the luxury department store has also introduces recyclable packaging in an attempt to deliver an environmentally-responsible calendar.
This calendar is a treasure trove of travel-size fragrances, votive candles and scented ancillaries for the fragrance connoisseur. Best of all, come the 25th there’s a full size Christmas Trees candle waiting for you to fill your home with the festive aromas of lavender, amber and incense.

For any Elemis fans out there, mark your calendars for the 5 September, when this launches. And you’ll need to be quick, last year its advent calendar sold out in only five days. Wizarding fans will be pleased to see a Harry Potter beauty advent calendar on shelves this Christmas from the 4 November, but you can beat the crowds by ordering it online from 1 October. Behind the doors you’ll find mini bath bombs, nail varnishes, eye masks and more.
Another top pick for the spa lover, Espa’s calendar is a treasure chest of luxurious bath oils, body butters, scalp masks and serums to enjoy. There’s a full-size surprise on day 25, too.
Countdown to Christmas with the much-coveted 12 days of Christmas calendar from Charlotte Tilbury, that’s packed with glow-giving, luxurious products across the makeup artist’s skincare and makeup range, including her cult lipsticks and Magic Cream. This is definitely one for the beauty obsessive in your life.

Meet the mother of all advent calendars thanks to Harrods. Full of the world’s luxury brands, you’ll find travel-size and full-size products that will surely bring Christmas cheer all round.
