On the final day of his state visit, the US president marked the 75th anniversary of the second world war campaign.

US president Donald Trump is making a state visit to the UK on 3 June. He will be accompanied by his wife Melania. The couple will meet the Queen, outgoing-PM Theresa May and attend a D-Day commemorative event in Portsmouth during their three-day visit.
