Dominic Cummings was appointed by Prime Minister Boris Johnson as a senior adviser in July 2019. As director of Vote Leave during the EU referendum, Cummings is credited with the campaign’s slogan “Take Back Control” and devising the now infamous "£350m-a-week for the NHS" bus-slogan stunt.
