Dr Malcolm Cross is Reader in Psychology and Dean of Students at City University London.
Originally trained in Australia as a Clinical Psychologist, Dr Cross is chartered as a Counselling Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and is registered as such with the UK Health Professions Council.
Early in his career he occupied a role as Residential Psychologist in a young offenders institution and then later in the not for profit sector managing of a crisis counselling and information service for young homeless people.
He is the author of numerous peer reviewed publications and books primarily in the area of counselling psychology and personal construct theory.
Dr Cross is an active member of his profession, working in numerous voluntary roles within the British Psychological Society and more recently the UK Health Professions Council.
