Gerri McAndrew OBE

Gerri qualified as a social worker and worked in four Inner London Boroughs as a practitioner and Assistant Director of Social Services, specialising in children’s services. Following eight years as Chief Executive of the Fostering Network, she joined Buttle UK as Chief Executive in 2003.

Gerri qualified as a social worker and worked in four Inner London Boroughs as a practitioner and Assistant Director of Social Services, specialising in children’s services. Following eight years as Chief Executive of the Fostering Network, she joined Buttle UK as Chief Executive in 2003. Gerri is currently a Governor of James Allen's Girls School and Cokethorpe School. She has previously held positions as Trustee and Chair of a number children’s charities, including End Child Poverty and the International Foster Care Organisation. Gerri has been an Adviser on a number of Government working groups throughout the UK.
