“I have no words for how much I loathe you,” said journalist Yasmin Alibhai-Brown to Spectator columnists Rod Liddle. And that was probably the most cordial moment of a fiery segment on Thursday'sChannel 4 News about race, religion and British values.
Or at least that's what it was supposed to be about, before it turned into a hate-fest that not only saw the two guests sparring, but drew in the presenter, or the “faux liberal leftie only concerned with her own economic self-interest", as Liddle dismissively called her.
