Quaker Teacher Charged With 'String Of Child Sex Offences'

A former teacher at a top boarding school has been charged with a string of sexual offences against children, police have said.

Keith Ruby, 35, faces a total of 21 allegations involving two victims including sexual activity with a child, engaging in sexual activity and indecent assault, Avon and Somerset Police said.

Ruby, from Axbridge, Somerset, who worked at Sidcot School in Winscombe, will face Taunton Magistrates' Court on 1 February.

The Quaker-linked school educates nearly 500 boys and girls aged between three and 19 and charges annual boarding fees of more than £22,000.
