Video Footage Shows Moment Architecture Student Is Stamped On During London Robbery

Video footage has been published by the Met Police showing the moment an architecture student was stamped on and dragged along a busy street in Tower Hamlets.

The 20-year-old student was walking on East India Dock Road taking pictures when he was accosted by a man who was a passenger on a moped.

The man jumped off the moped to grab the victim's camera and kicked the student several times in the face when he refused to give up his photography equipment.

Police have published footage of the incident, which took place around 1.45pm on December 23 last year, in the hope someone will come forward with information about the identity of the attackers.

The student was taken to a hospital in East London for emergency dental treatment and was later discharged.

Suspect 1’ is described as wearing dark motorcycle equipment and a black crash helmet.

‘Suspect 2’, the rider of the white moped is described as wearing a red jacket, dark trousers and a black motorcycle helmet.
