Associate Editor at Realscreen, the leading international documentary magazine

Adam Benzine is the Associate Editor for realscreen, the leading international publisher of non-fiction film and television industry news and content.

Based in Toronto, Adam works across all areas of the realscreen brand, including the market-leading bi-monthly trade magazine; the realscreen.com website; and the brand’s three acclaimed international events, the Realscreen Summit, Realscreen West and the Branded Entertainment Forum.

He regularly attends and covers most of the major documentary film and TV industry festivals and markets, including Sundance, South By Southwest, MIPCOM, the Toronto International Film Festival and the Edinburgh International Television Festival; and frequently chairs panel sessions and Q&As with filmmakers and execs, at events such as Hot Docs, IDFA and Sheffield Doc/Fest.

Prior to joining realscreen at the start of 2011, Adam served as Factual Editor at C21 Media, overseeing documentary coverage for the UK-based publisher, which he joined in March 2008.

Prior to joining C21, he was reporter/online editor at UK music industry trade title Music Week, before which he wrote for a variety of trade, consumer and newspaper titles, including The Independent, Little White Lies, Property Week, Time Out London and Mojo.
