The notion that I need a particular type of liquid to unwind is an unusual concept. For a non-drinker, relaxation can be achieved through numerous other means. For example, one of my favourite ways to unwind is simply to sit down. This is achievable regardless of what I drink.

We have a flourishing independent film scene. Micro-budget projects being built from the ground up, mostly through crowdfunding. And we have the huge superhero movies, but the in-betweens, the films that people really care about, have vanished.

But 'Strictly' finished more than two months ago, which in tabloid terms, is a life-time. Which means that the press release we sent out for our comedy web-series 'Sally the Life Coach' was largely ignored. This therefore means, when it comes to doing press for our show, I need to, uh, do it all myself. So here goes...

It's not hours or days or even weeks, it's months and months that I've lost to the internet, to the false promises of the next notification, to the endless search for more information and more content in endless news articles and blogs and videos and whatever else seems important, tumbling out in unison over never-ending tabs and windows and devices.

When discussing my O2 woes with a friend this week, he said to me, "I have never had a problem with O2, until I wanted to try and end my contract. Spent about two hours a day for a week on hold. Was a joke. In the end I gave up, so I guess they won."

The government need to step in. We need legislation. Sometimes a handshake/hug/kiss mishap leads to awkwardness, which is fine - but if you're not careful, it can lead to an unwanted kiss, or worse; head-butting.

Freelancers are always out of work. Even when they're in work, they're out of work. If you are not working, you have no money. And if you are working, you have no time to find more work. When the job ends, you have time, but no work. Whichever way you approach it, you always have no money.
