, I miss being able to easily find mixed cajun spice and roulade sauce in supermarkets to give a kick to a meal. So when I heard that there was a pop up jazz and julep bar with American food up from London, my interest was piqued. Were the juleps going to be sweet and sassy enough? The food going to be spicy enough?

This time we're passing Edinburgh's Meadows to the southeast where you'll find a bougie borough called Bruntsfield. With great schools, cafes, independent shops and its close proximity to two universities and one of Edinburgh's elite boroughs, Morningside, it's a popular neighbourhood for many.

Today the world's biggest art festival hits Edinburgh's gardens and closes for three weeks! The city's population doubles in size as people from all over the world flock to the streets and the various festival venues. The streets are filled with performances and exhibitions, actors arrive at bars in their outfits post performance and bars and clubs are open late - 3 am and 5 am.

The bakery's most recent poll was held on Friday 29 August. It has the no vote at 46.6% in a slight lead above the yes voters at 45.3% with 8.1% undecided. However, Cuckoo's Bakery said that the no votes have always been miles ahead of the yes votes until the last couple of weeks.

The word "vegan" used to scare me. I grew up in America's Midwest where cheese was on almost every single dish - it was even on salad served with a creamy salad dressing. I loved cheese, ice cream, cheesecake... I could do without meat but dairy?! Also where would I get my protein and wouldn't it be expensive? These are common misconceptions about transitioning to a vegan/plant-based lifestyle.
