James Graham

Vocalist for Scottish indie rock band, The Twilight Sad

James Graham sings vocals for The Twilight Sad.

Formed in 2003 the band began experimenting with tape loops from films and old folk and country songs, effects pedals, toy keyboards, computer games and musical instruments. They kept themselves in the studio to work on a more traditional, but sonically adventurous outfit.

Since forming, their sound has evolved as have their influences, from their earlier Phil Spector wall of sound influenced work to their latest Liars and Autechre inspired synth-heavy Album.

Over the course of their career they've played with bands such as Snow Patrol, Mogwai, Idlewild, Smashing Pumpkins and Frightened Rabbit, and performed at festivals including Pitchfork, End of The Road, Latitude and T in The Park.
