Headmaster, The British School of Barcelona

I am Headmaster at The British School of Barcelona, which is part of Cognita Schools, one of Europe's largest networks of private independent schools.

I was born and bred in Catalonia but, after finishing a BA in English Literature at the University of Barcelona, my academic interests took me to the United Kingdom, where I spent 23 years of my life. Thanks to several scholarships, I was able to take an MA in European Renaissance Drama (Warwick and the Sorbonne) and I then completed my DPhil at the University of Oxford. Before being appointed Headmaster of The British School of Barcelona, I held a number of positions at Charterhouse (Surrey), St Paul’s (London) and Eton College, as well as at university level.
