Kate Horstead, writer, journalist and political activist

Currently working as an information officer at the charity Age UK, Kate has written for a range of publications and on a mixture of subjects. Her favourite topics of conversation are people, politics, music and literature, and she also knows more than she ever wanted to know about small businesses [after a particularly long stint as a business writer].

Kate also stood as a local candidate for Brixton Hill in last year’s council elections, and enjoys walking, running, cooking, and putting the world to rights.
