Konrad Adenauer Foundation Master’s Scholar at the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA)

Matebe Chisiza is a 2017 SAIIA/Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Scholars. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science from Jacksonville University in Florida, USA, and is currently studying towards a Master’s Degree in International Relations at the University of the Witwatersrand. Her areas of research interest and expertise include: gender equality within government institutions, the rise of technology and its implications on the job market, the rise of youth unemployment in Southern Africa and what states are doing to tackle it, good governance and accountability in Africa, African unity and the role of elections in conflict and conflict resolution.
