Dr Rhys Crilley is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in Global Media and Communication at The Open University, UK, where he works on the AHRC-funded ‘Reframing Russia’ project. His research explores the intersections of popular culture, social media and global politics with a specific interest in war and legitimacy.
