Sarah Calvert

Psychotherapist, Psychosexual & Relationship Therapist

Sarah Calvert is a UKCP, CORST Psychotherapist, Psychosexual & Relationship Therapist. As a psychotherapist Sarah has had experience working within the NHS and in private practice, and is experienced in tackling many different issues with people from all walks of life. However, her speciality and passion lies in working with psychosexual and relationship issues.

Prior to retraining to become a psychotherapist Sarah worked in the corporate sector. She experienced first-hand the demands of corporate life and the stresses of balancing career with family and personal relationships. Her decision to become a psychotherapist stems from a life-long interest in how individuals can overcome obstacles to reach their true potential. Through psychotherapy, she enables clients to realise their own potential, whether that be in business or personal relationships. Sarah’s psychosexual therapeutic experience has led to a passion for driving better, more diverse sex education. Exploring issues such as the effect technology is having on our sexuality, her mission is to provide a better understanding of the relationship and sexual issues affecting today’s society and encourage a healthier outlook for the next generation. Sarah worked closely with COSRT to collate expert responses for the government’s recent policy update for sex education in schools. She is currently writing a book aimed at primary school pupils, parents and teachers, which helps to address issues around sex and relationships and provides a positive platform for discussion.
