Israeli-American sculptor Varda Yoran was born in China, lived in Israel and currently in the US. She's collaborated on her husband’s memoir The Defiant which was published in 1996. She wrote AL - the Israeli Prometheus about an American Israeli who created aviation history of Israel. And she established the Rose Art Foundation, a non-profit organization that has donated 800 recliners on wheels to immobile patients throughout the U.S.
