Donald Trump Called Himself 'Mr Brexit' And We Can't Figure Out What He Means

Does anyone have a clue?

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is well known for tweeting some peculiar and illegible things, and he’s just added to that by a simple post claiming people would soon start calling him “Mr Brexit”.

They will soon be calling me MR. BREXIT!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 18, 2016

No, we’re not quite sure what that’s supposed to mean either.

I’ve been staring at this for two minutes, trying to extrapolate any kind of meaning from it. Nope. Nothing. https://t.co/yT4YVurJHd

Luckily a few tweeters had some ideas and tried to make sense of why we might be calling Trump “Mr Brexit”.

.@realDonaldTrump Why? Because Brexit was an ill-thought through disaster that has damaged a country’s economy and standing in the World?

A bad idea voted for thanks to misinformation and angry people who didn't think their votes mattered?

I can see it. https://t.co/SijtdE7rOk

@realDonaldTrump Because you will divide a nation and people who voted for you will regret it the next day and want a do-over?

Because you're unpopular overseas and America lost interest in you 2 months ago? pic.twitter.com/hippyO6jON
