Journalists from around the world are offering touching tributes to two US broadcasters shot dead by a disgruntled former employee on Wednesday.
Camera operators, news anchors, editors and reporters have all joined to pay homage to Alison Parker and Adam Ward, posting pictures of assembled newsrooms and staff standing in solidarity with their deceased colleagues.
Some described the two victims as "like a family", while others sent tributes pouring in from San Diego, Dallas, New York, Kansas, Philadelphia, Arizona, Salt Lake City, Alabama, Boston and South Carolina.
Some included 'SMPTE' colour bars - a television test pattern - to pay tribute to Alison Parker and Adam Ward.
Both victims were killed at point-blank range while reporting live on-air on Wednesday. The gunman filmed the murders, and posted videos on his social media accounts.
The suspect, a journalist who was fired from the TV station earlier this year, crashed his vehicle while trying to flee state troopers. He was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He later died in hospital.
