The first teaser for the upcoming ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ film is here, offering fans a fresh glimpse at Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley in character.

Although the minute-long clip doesn’t offer anything new in the way of the film’s plot - other than the fact we can look forward to fit men, luxurious locations and a lot of cocktails (obv!) - it has got us right in the mood for a new slice of action from Eddie and Patsy.
The new teaser shows the infamous duo soaking up some sunshine, while a voiceover teases: “When you must have the best, be sure to choose something cool, something refreshing, something… absolutely fabulous.”
Fans are then treated to a quick snippet of the sitcom’s iconic theme music, while the notorious pair walk in front of a white background, accompanied by the message: “Coming soon… sweetie darling.”

The ‘Ab Fab’ film has been a long time in the making, with all of the original series’ cast, including Julia Sawalha, Jane Horrocks and June Whitfield, all reprising their comedy roles for the big screen.
And, of course, it wouldn’t be ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ without some celebrity cameos, with regulars Lulu, Emma Bunton and Kate Moss also returning for the film adaptation - with the latter being photographed filming last year, emerging from the river Thames in full red carpet attire.
Rylan Clark has also landed a small role in the film, with Kim Kardashian, Cara Delevingne and Harry Styles also rumoured to have filmed guest appearances.
‘Absolutely Fabulous’ is currently slated to hit UK cinemas on 1 July 2016.
