Evanna Lynch is an Irish actress. Born in Dublin. Evanna developed an interest in acting at a young age, when her teacher cast her in the lead role of the Catholic friar and preacher, Saint Francis of Assisi for a school play. Her professional career began in 2006 when, at the age of 14, she competed in an open audition against nearly fifteen thousand girls, and won the coveted role of Luna Lovegood in the popular "Harry Potter" movie franchise.
