Curatorial Director Lisson Gallery

Hilty’s career has been focused in London: from his early days at Riverside Studios in West London he moved to the Hayward as senior curator through the 90’s. He then gained the position of Director of Arts for London Arts and Director of Visual Arts and Literature for the Arts Council England’s London office, positions he held from 1999–2004. In 2005 he founded Plus Equals with the University of the Arts London, developing artistic initiatives across different disciplines and industries. Greg Hilty was appointed Curatorial Director at Lisson Gallery in 2008 a position he has held since. Lisson Gallery has been at the forefront of developments in contemporary art since 1967 and has a unique record of selecting and supporting the most exciting artists emerging internationally.
