CEO, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England

Poppy Jaman is the CEO and one of the co-founders of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England. She has been with the programme for ten years, turning it from a small government project into a fast-growing, commercially successful community interest company. As an internationally respected mental health advocate and policy advisor, she has over 19 years’ experience of influencing and leading change in public mental health. Along with her work with MHFA England, Poppy is CEO of City Mental Health Alliance, a coalition of London based businesses working to increase understanding of mental health issues and to create a culture of good mental health in the City. Poppy also sits on the board of Public Health England as a non-executive director and advises the board on public mental health and community development, drawing attention to the connection of physical health with mental health in order to improve public mental health across the country.
