Wajid Khan

Labour MEP for the North West of England and member of the European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee

Wajid Khan is a Labour MEP for the North West of England. He is a member of the Foreign Affairs and Human Rights committees in the European Parliament, and is the Labour Party spokesperson on human rights in the European Parliament. In addition, he is the Socialist & Democrat Group Special Representative to Muslim communities. Before becoming an MEP, Wajid was a senior lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), and has directed International Youth Leadership Conferences around the world. He is also on the International Policy Commission of the Labour Party's National Policy Forum.
