The former Pop Idol star died last month, as a result of "inhalation of chloroethane" and "suffocation".
The singer competed alongside Darius on Pop Idol in 2002, which Will eventually went on to win.
"He had the heart of a lion. It was bigger and brighter than the sun and an energy so contagious he could light up a room in seconds."
The former Pop Idol judge described the singer's death as "an absolute tragedy".
