Living with her husband in Hastings, East Sussex, Amanda Nicol spent 20 years restoring Old Master paintings and is now a full time writer and painter. She is currently working on a memoir about her healing from cancer and its treatment both in the UK and in Mexico. Her other titles include; House of Bread, based on her own experience of mental illness, Badric’s Island, 'London's answer to Sex and the City', with a feminist twist, and Dead Pets Society, a quirky novel about our environmental crisis (published by Clink Street Publishing 2015).
