Charley-Kai John

English Literature student at the University of Warwick

Charley is an English Literature student studying at the University of Warwick who struggles to write about himself in the third person. He is a columnist and cartoonist for Warwick's student newspaper The Boar and has also contributed cartoons to Warwick Globalist, TSJ and Index on Censorship. Charley is the winner of student writing competitions for The Guardian and Index on Censorship's first student blogging competition, but doesn't like to brag. Welsh but unable to speak Welsh, he lives in an area of Cardiff called Splott, where tracksuit bottoms and dogs that can chew holes through walls are all the rage.
