Helen Animashaun, 34, from London, is a VSO volunteer with extensive experience working with community and women’s organisations. Since starting her placement in Juba, South Sudan, in March 2012, she has been supporting SSWEN with a range of projects including developing its remit, improving organisation, accessing more funding and some advocacy.
