After completion of a honours degree in journalism from Rhodes, I moved to JHB and have been in TV production for the last 18 years - as a freelancer, I produced educational TV, then directed documentary, then entered entertainment TV. I work as a commissioning editor and was also head of entertainment at the SABC. I now commission for the VIA channel. I'm also a writer - short story fiction in English and Afrikaans, as well as academic research. I have published my first academic research paper for a University of Stellenbosch journal.
