Writer, performer, procrastinator

Steven Kynman is possibly best known as Robert the Robot in the Bafta award winning series Justin's House. Other screen credits include series regular on Gigglebiz, Dark Matters, Moving Wallpaper.

Steven also talks...a lot, you can't shut him up. He's the voice of Sam, Elvis and Naughty Norman in Fireman Sam, Bud-D, Eddie and Ray on QPootle5, a number of Diesels and Steamies on Thomas The Tank Engine, numerous characters on shows like Dude That's My Ghost for Disney and Iconicles for CBeebies. He can also be heard on a number of Radio 4 comedies, such as Concrete Cow, Think The Unthinkable, Hut 33, Milton Jones, Giles Wemmbley Hogg but mostly as Henry, in The Castle.

Occasionally, he likes to hold his arm in the air for long periods of time, generally waving something made of foam or fur. Steven trained with Jim Henson's as a muppet and animatronic puppeteer, working on various projects from Muppet's Treasure Island to Construction Site, The Fimbles to The Hoobs and has just completed filming on Yonderland for SKY1 with the idiots responsible for Horrible Histories, puppeteering Elf, Mojo, Demon Neil and various others. He's currently working on a new pilot for Hat Trick.
Theatre credits include Mr Perks in the Olivier Award winning production of The Railway Children, Death of a Salesman at York Theatre Royal, Prince Herbert in Spamalot at The Palace Theatre, West End, Sunday In The Park With George and Forbidden Broadway both for the Menier Chocolate Factory.

Writing credits include The Hoobs, Justin's House and numerous comedy sketches and songs for Theatre and Radio.
