Yossi Mekelberg

Director of the International Relations and Social Sciences Programme at Webster University at Regent's College

Yossi Mekelberg is currently the Director of the International Relations and Social Sciences Programme at Webster University at Regent’s College where he is teaching since 1996. He is also an Associate Fellow at the Middle East and North Africa Programme at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House where he published briefing papers on the Middle East and participates in different projects and advisory work on conflict and economics in the region, including track II negotiations. His fields of interest are International Relations Theory, US Foreign Policy and International Relations and Revolutions, International Politics in the Middle East, the Arab-Israeli peace process, US foreign policy towards the region. Yossi is also on the London Committee of Human Rights Watch serving on the Advocacy and Outreach committee. He is a regular contributor to the international media on these issues. Since 2005 he is a consultant for the international relations research and simulation foundation Pax Ludens.
