BBC Question Time: Suzanne Evans Roasted For 'Distasteful' Joke About Scotland

Ukip’s Suzanne Evans riled a few Scots during last night’s Question Time Brexit special with what was either an ill-judged joke or a complete misunderstanding of Scottish history.

The SNP’s Alex Salmond was answering a question about immigration when he referenced the country’s long and troubled history of depopulation.

David Dimbleby presented the special edition from Birmingham.
