The presenter is about to go on a two-week break to spend time with her mother, who she hasn't seen in four months.
"I've got blood everywhere!"
Many felt comments made by celebrity stylist Michael Douglas "could be damaging for the hairdressing industry".
The band were there to perform their new single React, but it got off to a bit of a shaky start.
"All that's left is for Joe Pesci to do Countdown's Dictionary Corner."
The presenter became emotional as he told viewers he would be leaving the BBC show next year.
