Studies carried out by The Anti-bulling Aliance show that people living with any form of disability or additional learning need are more likely to be a victim of bullying. Despite this, anyone can become a victim of bullying, and so this year's theme for anti bullying week is 'Lets Stop Bullying for All'.
It's no secret that we're extremely connected, some of us even online-addicts. We mindlessly trail social media sites, taking in everything that flickers in front of our eyes, some helpful, some not. The 'belfies', yoga poses you couldn't even do if you were Stretch Armstrong and tiny, everything-free meals; well, that stuff comes under not so helpful.
In my ignorance I had reduced this 3,000 year old practice into a simple exercise class. I wasn't in it for the 'hippy dippy' chanting and veganism, I was in it for the abs. Irrespective of the whole 'cool' new revival you wouldn't catch me chanting cross legged, or wearing a red bracelet. I liked meat, wine and enjoying life. I liked having fun.
