In my ignorance I had reduced this 3,000 year old practice into a simple exercise class. I wasn't in it for the 'hippy dippy' chanting and veganism, I was in it for the abs. Irrespective of the whole 'cool' new revival you wouldn't catch me chanting cross legged, or wearing a red bracelet. I liked meat, wine and enjoying life. I liked having fun.
There's nothing wrong with wanting to look good. According to her, she's "been spending all day, every day, in weapons training... shooting guns, weightlifting, kick-boxing..." This all sounds like she's being really healthy, but with all that expenditure of energy, someone is still telling her she is not allowed to put sugar in her tea?
A-listers aren't just famous for their hard work and talent - they're famous for winning the genetic lottery, they're famous for being in the right place at the right time, they're famous for the privileged starts they had, that allowed them to explore and hone what talent they had and make the necessary connections to get ahead in life.
