The live rendition of Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me came 25 years after John sang Candle in the Wind at Princess Diana's funeral.
"She’s been with me all my life and I feel very sad that she won’t be with me anymore," Elton said before performing Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me.
The Rocketman singer was close friends with the princess prior to her death in August 1997.
"She is bloody good."
